OUR MISSION STATEMENT AND OBJECTIVE

“Preserving Veterans’ Stories”

As a non-profit organization, the Making History Project is dedicated to preserving Veterans’ stories. We do this because the sacrifices of Veterans on behalf of our country are undeniable. This includes being away from family and friends, missing important life moments, and even the loss of limb or life. In a perfect perspective, all gave some, and some gave all. Your support is crucial in our mission to ensure these stories are not forgotten.

Veterans’ stories are preserved through in-person video oral history interviews. An oral history interview will cover the Veteran’s life and important memories from his or her military service. One important research topic for the Making History Project is to document the effects of combat trauma on Veterans across various generations and conflicts. In all cases, Veterans are free to discuss their military service in any order or way that they wish. No two stories are ever the same. And no contribution to the military is too small or unworthy of preservation. https://making-history-project.com/mission-statement/
