I love to help people find their passion in life and I have a zeal for learning and leadership. I am inspired by Servant Leadership and want to promote it as much as possible. I obtained an Ed.D. in Applied Learning Sciences at the University of Miami and have a M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, a M.S. in Environmental Sciences from Louisiana State University, a B.S. from Excelsior College, and an A.A. in Persian Studies from the Defense Language Institute. I retired from the Coast Guard after 22 years of service in the Coast Guard and Navy with Deployments to Mexico, Asia, the Middle East and one to support a Marine Expeditionary Unit in Iraq. I have gained a lot of experience in crisis and emergency management responding to over 15 major hurricanes and numerous environmental, pollution events.

We built the podcast to illustrate that servant leadership comes in many variations and discuss how we can all help ourselves and other people on their path to becoming a servant leader so that ALL people from every walk of life can benefit. Studies show that people and organizations benefit from servant leadership, but too often people lack an understanding of what servant leadership truly looks like or they think it is only for niche groups. The goal of this podcast is to discuss servant leadership with servant leaders from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and leadership levels to help every person think more deeply about how they can become a servant leader and foster more servant leadership in their organization, communities, and social circles.
